['Lonesome' is indeed how it is. Ali doesn't complain about a lack of companionship, it's a part of his life that he's had a long time to accept. But just because he's accepted it doesn't mean he is completely okay with it. There are moments when he has only himself to rely on, and in those moment his chest feels both empty and ready to burst open at the same time.
It's less lonely now, with the King and everyone in the castle. But for the most part they are all humans, and someday Ali will see them all buried. It's a truth of humanity he hasn't forgotten.
Still, when he speaks next, it's with a soft smile on his face as he watches the crowds below, and a touch of fondness to his tone too.]
